My gs 125 project

Post by Benneyboy on Sun Aug 02, 2009 3:35 pm

Well hello people thought id be the first to ake a project thread on this forum and get some of you lazy fuckers into gear lol .

so what we playing with here , the bike in question is a suzuki gs 125 4t not the fastest 125 nor the slowest and belve me it pulls well for a 4t . i have been talking to dan alot about this project so dan will know what to exepect ,

i like building bikes and taking a standard bike and making it a little different to its siblings if ya get me so basically im going to modified my gs form the crap running gear it has now to allow me to chomp a bit more 2t ass on the corners etc as well as poke the engine about a bit to squeeze some ponies form her im going to aim for about 22bhp when im finished so basically im looking to find around 10-12 bhp from some where lol things like the cam , carb and head will be played with in order to obtain theses increases as well as fitting a higher comp piston etc, the main aim now will be to get the new running gear on and tweak the lump with the bike being on the road i will even consider buying a second engine and going all out on that depends so enough chatting lets get to pictures

was waiting for someone to metion that the rear hoop will take a 130 section where as the front can take down toa 110 so it will run a 110 on the front and a 130 on the rear , later date might fit the 125 rim and see if it fits ok if so ill go up to 150 rear 120 front. as said this is a dry build still thiungs like welding top shock mount in , welding mounts up for rearr sets and then strip etc and paint, been talking to jrdan and the long term plan is to fit the 150 kit (with 2mm oversize valves , uprated cam , and go for a 32mm carb and posrt the head , and fit a high comp pistion. till then ill fit a 28mm flatside carb with a bellmouth
