I wouldn't know which hand to use it in Will! Very Happy

Think I'll get it checked in by the garage since they seem to do it right first time...whereas it takes me an hour to sort it out. And that's just finding the right tool Smile

£200 later .... ;(

And my oil line came undone less than 15 miles after service.

Sprayed oil everywhere and I had the breakdancing routine on the road before nearly topping it.

How I saved it I've no idea. I could barely even stand up straight without doing acrobatic splits and falling over. Oil is so slippy.

Anyway, it's fixed now. That second bit was free of charge after a 4 hour wait for breakdown recovery on the roadside.

And the only guy who stopped to see if I was okay, was a biker who sold tyres. He gave me his business card and told me next time I get tyres, he'd do it cheaper if i bought them from him. Lol. Hardsell. What a city Smile

I was fish tailing like crazy - it was a miracle I didn't crash. When I slowed down and got off, there was so much oil on the road that I couldn't stand upright without slipping all over.

Got my bike recovered to the garage. They ran a diagnostics - not hard - and the engine oil line had unclipped hanging loose. So it basically chucked all the engine oil out from the front, across my exhausts and suspension to the rear tyre, which explains the loss of rear wheel traction.

It wasn't an accident: had my bike serviced the day before. Something they did, or didn't do (secure the oil line clip, or put a new oil filter seal in before plugging it up).

Anyway, I'm fine - the worse bit was the 4 hour roadside wait trying to get a tow truck...

Bloody hell Morgan! Did you give them baffons down at the garage a telling off?

Sounds as though that was a 'touching cloth' moment there. Glad you kept it up right and its all sorted now Smile
