Re: Project pug ped

Post by Will-Radford on Mon Mar 08, 2010 3:12 pm

Got a fair bit done tonight, sorry about the shite pictures once again

Ive done some bits that cant be seen in the pictures such as connecting up the brakes front and back and setting it all up, finished wiring up the few last bits, such as stator to the battery, all the hand controls etc

Piston on

Cylinder on

I put the cylinder head on and tightened it all up and put a spark plug in to stop anything getting inside the cylinder. put the carbon reed in the reed cage pug the carb on. Ive also connected up the auto choke, throttle cable and also connected up the 2 stroke bottle

I also put the exhaust on bar the end can, i think it looks really good in black to be honest

Tomorow ive got the petrol tank, and starter motor to put on then im basically ready to start it up... well try too

Im hoping the haynes manual arrives tomorow so i can check everything and whatnot just to be sure ive done it all correctly,

I really hope you don't drop it again on a frop.

That's such painstaking work. If only you spent as much time honing your riding skills instead of repairing lol.
