Removing front wheel?

Post by Knowlsey on Tue Jul 28, 2009 7:16 pm

Hello, ive ordered a new speedo drive for my rieju but havent got the slightest clue how to get the wheel off, its held on weird, maybe because of the upside-down forks?, but it has a nut on one side and on the other side its just got a hole all the way through, sorry if my explaination wasnt the best but hopefully someone will understand lol Very Happy and help would be appreciated
Cheers Dan.

Theres Probly a Clamp holding the spindle in place and the the spindle will screw in and out so you dont need a bolt on the other side.

yeah theres a clamp on the side with a hole through, so undo the clamp, take the nut off the other side and then a screwdriver or something to turn the spindle out? is there a thread on the bottom of the fork where the spindle goes through then? cheer for help Smile

It sounds the same as my Dt125.

Get the wheel off the floor
Undo 4 bolts but dont take them out
Undo the Spindel

(Remember where the spaces go!)
